Never. You log in through Riot's own official login page inside the app — Statics never sees or stores your password. Riot hands the app a secure token (think of it as a VIP pass) that lets it read your VALORANT data, like your store and matches, while your password stays safe with Riot.
It used to be — Statics was on the Google Play Store for a while (~25K downloads) before being delisted over a couple of its more sensitive features, like agent select. It's now distributed as a direct APK through GitHub Releases: download the latest version above and install it like any other APK — you may need to allow your browser to install apps the first time. You don't even need to sign in to look around.
Completely free, and always ad-free. No paywalls, no subscriptions — Statics is a passion project for the VALORANT community, not a money-maker. 🦆
Statics only reads your account data through Riot's official sign-on (RSO) — it isn't a cheat, an overlay, or anything that gives an in-game advantage, and it was approved for RSO use during development. For full transparency: Riot's general stance is that third-party apps can carry some risk, and a small number of isolated bans have been reported, though widespread bans tied to Statics have not. I keep an eye on Riot's position and will flag any changes.
Yes. As of Statics 5.0, every PC feature is mirrored to console — so whether you play VALORANT on PC, Xbox or PlayStation, your stats, store and loadout all work the same.
Not yet. iOS would mean a Mac, an iPhone and Apple's $100/year developer fee — a lot to ask as a solo uni student — so it's on the back burner for now. If you're on iOS, Julian's excellent Recon Bolt is a great pick in the meantime; it's a big inspiration for Statics. 🦆😎
Probably not — you're already at your PC with the client open while you play, and the whole point of Statics is glancing at your stats on your phone between rounds or on a break. That said, I'm always open to feedback: if you'd find a PC version genuinely useful, tell me why and you might change my mind!
Statics is built and maintained solo by Faheem Saleem — juggled alongside uni, work and life, with 40+ updates shipped to a community of 50K+ players. Thanks for your patience, and keep the suggestions and bug reports coming. 🦆
